Cold Chain & Temperature Logistics

Warehouse and FEFO operating app from the floor

The real operation of a cold store, put-away, location, pallet movement, FEFO, blast-freezing, value-added work and dispatch, runs in a register, a personal Excel and a WhatsApp group, none of which talk to each other, none of which the owner can see, and all of which depend on the person holding them. Off-the-shelf WMS software does not fit a cold store's chambers, bands, value-added work and depositor billing, so the real process lives off system and the office always works off yesterday's picture. On the move side, the reefer driver's trip, set-point, fuel and proof are phoned in and re-keyed at day-end.

Who has it

Cold-storage operators at the core, as the cold-store operating app; reefer fleets, as the driver and trip app run from the cab; and fresh or quick-commerce fulfilment, as the dark-store screens behind the dispatch workflow.

What we build

A purpose-built application for how this operator actually runs: web for the office and mobile or tablet for the chamber, the dock and the cab. For a cold store, the chamber-and-location, FEFO, put-away/pick, blast and value-added, and depositor-billing screens. For a reefer fleet, a driver app that captures trip events, set-point, fuel and proof-of-delivery from the cab in real time. The application is the system of record the whole team runs the same way, on the floor and on the road, not just at a desk.

What is automated, where AI helps, who signs off

Automation for the routine. A person on every decision that matters.

The reliable spine

The application itself is non-AI: the chamber, location, FEFO, put-away and pick, blast and value-added and depositor-billing screens, the driver and trip capture from the cab, and the rules and calculations that make them one system of record on the floor and the road.

Where AI helps

AI does only bounded reading at the edges, such as lifting a figure off a photographed challan or proof so the floor does not re-key it, on the operator's own data. It never moves stock, sets a charge or makes the operating decision the screen records.

Who signs off

A named person signs off any stock movement, charge or dispatch the application records, and any rule the application enforces.

What changes day to day

The real process finally lives in one place everyone can see and update; the chamber, the dock and the cab feed the office in real time instead of at day-end; the owner sees what is happening without asking; the operation stops depending on a register and one person's Excel.

Illustrative outcome

Day-end re-keying removed; the office works off today's picture; capacity and trip status visible without a walk or a phone call.

Illustrative; final numbers come from your own data.
