The reliable spine
The non-AI spine is the source-linked workflow: clean records, rules, calculations, integrations, exception queues, approvals and reporting for Production and job-work operations.
Leather & Footwear
What is on the floor lives in one supervisor's head and a paper cutting and job-work challan; nobody can say where a style or a lot has reached without walking the shop. Leather, the most expensive input, is issued against a style or a lot and not reconciled to output, so cutting wastage, pilferage and yield loss hide. Components, uppers and soles sent out for job-work (closing, finishing, sole-attach, lasting) leave on a register that does not reconcile, so material goes missing and job-work bills go unchecked. For a tannery the same problem is the batch and lot: hides issued to a process drum, the chemical recipe, the output, the rejects, and the stage sent out as job-work, none of it reconciled. Costing per style or per lot is an after-the-fact guess. Yield, the usable area recovered from a lot of hides, is the single biggest cost lever in leather, and most tanneries and cutting rooms cannot put a number on it lot by lot. A hide is natural and variable; two lots bought at the same per-piece price recover very different usable square feet after defects, splitting and trimming. The wastage hides between the weighbridge and the finished bundle, the grading is a person's eye, and nobody reconciles area-in to area-out by lot, supplier, grade or process drum.
Who has it
Across all segments; it is defining for footwear makers and exporters (style-wise cutting, closing, lasting and job-work) and for tanneries (batch and lot processing and area yield); leather goods and accessories makers carry the cutting-room area yield in part, and components and job-work units carry the component yield.
What we build
A style-wise (or lot-wise) job-card and routing workflow, material-issued-vs-output reconciliation keyed to leather and the costly inputs, a job-work issue-and-receipt register that reconciles, and floor capture of stage, piece-rate and cost. For a tannery, a batch and lot record tying hides issued, recipe, output area and rejects. An area and yield record: area or weight in by lot and supplier, usable area out by grade, and a reconciliation that surfaces the yield gap by lot, supplier, grade and (for a tannery) process drum or batch, plus a cutting-room consumed-per-pair-vs-norm read for the makers. The yield number finally enters costing and supplier evaluation.

The reliable spine
The non-AI spine is the source-linked workflow: clean records, rules, calculations, integrations, exception queues, approvals and reporting for Production and job-work operations.
Where AI helps
AI is limited to bounded reading, extraction, matching, clustering or drafting from the firm's own data for Production and job-work operations; it never owns the number, the approval, the promise or the decision.
Who signs off
A named person signs off anything touching money, stock, a customer promise, a regulated filing, a payment, a price, a credit decision or a people decision.
What changes day to day
The owner sees what is in process and where without walking the floor; leather issued reconciles to output so wastage and pilferage surface; job-work leaves and returns against a register that ties, and job-work bills get checked; true cost per style or per lot becomes a number. Illustrative: a footwear exporter digitised cutting-room issue and output, reconciled leather to pairs, and cut leather wastage on its worst styles noticeably in the first few months.
